Charles, Prince of Wales was born on November 14th 1948 to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He was the eldest son and so became the heir to the throne of sixteen independent states. He carries on duties on behalf of other states of which the Queen is a sovereign. Prince Charles has been more in focus for his relationships and personal life. It reached its height when he was engaged to the late Princess Diana. He followed the royal family tradition and enrolled in navy and air force. Prince Charles was romantically involved with several women before he sought Diana to be his potential bride.
